A Terrible Day

In Penang, my difficulties are the fact that I cannot speak English well and I am not used to Malaysian systems and culture.

Even so, my wife and I have done well. For the last one month, we rented my house, connected my phone and ADSL, and applied to British Council, etc. Until now, we have done well.

However, the day before yesterday, all problems occured at the same time. My handphone wasn't charged, the washing machine didn't work and the air-conditioners blew out very dirty dust. Oh, my god! I felt sad.

But I realized that anything doesn't change while let these remain. I cheered myself up and yesterday I kept myself busy. I brought my handphone to the dealer and changed the charger. And I called to the agency and the owner for my house and talked about my problems. Finally, I heard from the owner, "Mr. Kim, I will repair all problems on Monday."

Hu... When everything came out, I was very tired. Because I cannot get my point across in English yet, it is very difficult to solve my problems. However, as I solve the problems, I can speak English more and the terrible days like yesterday are getting fewer. Therefore, I will try all problems with courage.
